Computer viruses, trojans, adware and spyware are a serious security and performance problem for your system. They can cause slower operating speed by draining system resources, damaged files, damaged hardware, and can install browser hijackers that take you to unwanted websites, hidden Trojans including keyloggers that can send every character you type to virus authors which can lead to theft of sensitive information.

Even if you think your system is fully clean, without the proper tools and knowledge to detect malware, chances are you have things executing on your system without your knowledge. Some of these programs can be extremely difficult to fully remove even with the proper tools. Viruses often are coded with regenerative capabilities that will restore them to your system even after you think you've successfully removed them. It is often necessary to manually scour your registry for keys to malicious software at a level beyond that which most anti-virus and anti-spyware software programs are capable of performing. Some viruses we've encountered are even coded at a level where their registry keys have protection against deletion, so even if you find them all, it can still be very difficult to eliminate them completely.

We have spent a considerable amount of time removing viruses and spyware from a substantial number of systems and have a vast level of knowledge about the various tricks used by virus coders to prevent the removal of their malicious software. We have yet to encounter a virus we could not remove, though there are some where reformatting the hard drive and starting over would have been the more time-efficient approach to solving the problem. Some of these are just plain nasty. We will take every precaution and make every effort to restore your system to being properly functional without having to resort to the drastic step of reformatting the hard drive and starting over, but due to the unpredictable nature of malicious software, we cannot guarantee that all data can be saved.

For that reason, we STRONGLY recommend that all valued files be backed up, if possible, before we begin to work on the system and that you enter this business relationship with us with the understanding that A) we will do the best job we can do and that B) we are not responsible for the loss of valuable data in the process of trying to remove malicious software from your system.

Three Sages Productions can provide you with all the services, tools and manual removal procedures that eliminate existing spyware and viruses from your home or business computers, and help you to keep your system clean in the future. Our goal in providing this service is to help you to never have to contact us again to provide this service. We promise to treat your machine with the same level of concern for security that we have for our own personal systems and won't stop at pursuing and removing virus traces until we are fully convinced that everything is gone completely.

Our spyware and virus removal and prevention services are offered onsite in the Orlando, Florida metropolitan area and via Windows remote assistance for customers located elsewhere. In addition to cleaning your system, we encourage you to watch every step of the process as we work on your machine so you can learn how to do things yourself. If you would prefer to not be involved and simply want us to make your machine work again without your involvement, we can do things that way as well, but your occasional presence in the Remote Assistance chat area will be required for you to answer specific questions that may arise about the software present on your system as we attempt to remove everything that shouldn't be present. With your permission as detailed in our terms and conditions, we will provide you with very helpful free software tools and insight on how to keep your system clean in the future.

If you are experiencing any strange behavior with your computer, such as slower-than-normal performance, unfamiliar and unwanted pages displaying in your browser, and pop-up windows constantly opening, you more than likely have a system infection. Even if you do not notice anything wrong it is very common for programs to be sending out data about your computer and internet activity without your knowledge. This is the case for legitimate programs as well as malware and we will try to point out all the programs on your system that are accessing the internet regularly and will give you tips on having greater control over your privacy. We strongly feel that we would find malware of some kind present on at least 75% of the machines out there where the owner thinks they are uninfected. Even if we do find that your system is clean, we can also offer tips and techniques to improve the performance of your machine.

For system cleanups, we charge $50 for the first hour, and $25 for each additional hour, with a maximum price of $200 to remove the most stubborn and difficult of viruses. It is impossible for us to tell how difficult the cleaning process will be until we are able to actually begin the work on your system and run various system scans, but most cleanups from our past experience are in the $100-$150 range. We understand that anything more than $200 would be completely cost ineffective for customers to justify spending, so we keep that as a price ceiling no matter how long it takes to remove the infection.

SYSTEM SECURITY TUTORIAL

We also offer a security tutorial session where we will share our expertise without doing an actual cleanup. The flat-rate price for this tutorial is $100.

We will walk even the computer novice through the process of keeping your system as secure as possible to prevent would-be system attackers and spies from accessing your machine or logging your internet habits. This is often a very enlightening process, especially for computer novices.

We will:

• Teach you how to recognize and remove hostile programs running on your system.
• Install multiple spyware detection and removal software packages and teach you to operate them for periodic system scans.
• Teach proper use of firewall protection for your system to recognize inbound and outbound system traffic.
• Install port scanning software to detect any active trojans on your system.
• Adjust multiple settings with your system to maximize security and enhance performance.

With this tutorial service, we do not remove any malicious software discovered while teaching you all the techniques, but if malware is detected during your tutorial, we can transition your requested service from a tutorial to a cleanup and your $100 charge for the tutorial will then apply as covering the first 3 hours of a system cleanup service. This way you can hire us for a training session to teach you what we know even if you think your system is clean, but if we find that your system is not clean, we can then apply what you've paid towards a cleanup for you.

MONTHLY SYSTEM SECURITY MAINTENANCE

If you do not have the time to learn everything yourself or time to handle all the scanning, checking and updating required to maintain your system security, we also offer a monthly security update service for $75 a month where you can have us handle everything for you either on location in the Orlando, Florida metropolitan area, or for only $30 a month via Remote Assistance as detailed above. You will not be billed further if you have to cancel this monthly service for any reason. We do ask that you do one system cleanup before we begin with the ongoing monthly maintenance program.

For cleanups that will be done via Windows Remote Assistance, we will send you step-by-step instructions for sending us a Remote Assistance invitation that will allow us to take control of your machine remotely and will work according to your time preferences (for if you wish to be present to watch the entire session so you can ask questions along the way).
